TOURIST VISA, CATEGORY 12–IX
This visa is issued for a time period of more than 91 days to 180 days and it is granted once a year taking in consideration the date of issue of the visa and first entrance to Ecuador. This visa applies to tourists, athletes, students, scientists, artists, merchants, and businessmen, health issues. This visa includes relatives in the first or second grade of consanguinity.
The requirements are the following:
-Visa application form.
-Economical Guaranty made before a Notary Public by an Ecuadorian citizen or foreigner resident in -Ecuador indicating that the foreigner will have sufficient funds for the permanence in Ecuador, or
-Bank Guaranty addressed to this Consulate certifying that the applicant has an account that registers a satisfactory monthly flow, or
-Work Certificate indicating the monthly income of the applicant.
-Round trip ticket
-Passport valid for at least 6 months
-A Police Criminal Record Check document, from the State Police. The applicant who is under the age of 18 must present a Certificate of Good Conduct issued by an educational institution.
-A notarized medical certificate, stating that the applicant is free of contagious diseases including HIV.
-2 current passport size photos, in color with white backdrop.
-The cost for this visa is $ 200 dollars, except for citizens of Colombia, Spain and Paraguay. (for which is free of charge)
